Why it exists
I built MakeTheBoard because every existing tool was either too complicated, too expensive, or required everyone to download an app. Teachers needed leaderboards for their classrooms but didn't want students creating accounts. Sales managers wanted a live scoreboard on the office TV but didn't want to wrestle with spreadsheets and screen-sharing. Event organizers needed something that just worked.
So I built something simple: create a board, add participants, share a link. Scores update in real time across every device. No installs, no sign-ups for viewers, no IT department required.
Today, MakeTheBoard powers leaderboards for teachers, sales teams, nonprofits, coaches, trivia hosts, and event organizers around the world.
