Customize the Look

Make a board match your event, team, or brand. Colors, backgrounds, and fonts all live in the Customize board modal, your logo sits with the board title, and every change previews live.

Open Customize board

From the board editor at /boards/<slug>, click Customize board in the toolbar. It opens on three tabs — Design (theme, colors, background), Layout, and Behavior — and Apply changes commits every tab at once, then broadcasts to viewers.

1

Set your colors

On the Design tab, open Edit colors and choose a primary color and accent. These drive ranks, score chips, and highlights. The default is our brand green. Custom colors require a paid plan. The free plan uses the built-in theme.

2

Choose a background

Still on Design, open Change background and pick a preset to set the mood: clean, dark, gradient, or textured. Dark presets look great on TVs; light ones blend into embeds. Uploading your own background image is also available on paid plans.

3

Pick a font

Choose a font that fits your audience: clean and highly readable for a TV display, or something with more character for a casual game night. Fonts and text size sit on the Design tab too.
4

Upload a logo

The logo lives with the board's name rather than its styling: click the board title in the editor to open Board details, where the title, description, and Logo are edited together. Custom logos are available on Pro and Premium. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG.
Add your own logo to brand the board header.

Remove the watermark

Free boards show a small “Create your own free board” link at the bottom of the public view. Upgrading removes it for a clean, fully branded board.

What needs a paid plan

Custom colors, custom backgrounds, custom logo, custom avatars, and watermark removal are all included on Pro and Premium. The free plan uses the built-in theme with the watermark. See pricing for the full comparison.

Designing for a TV?

High-contrast colors and a larger font read best across a room. Preview on the actual screen before your event. See the TV display guide.

How it looks to viewers

Open the public board at /b/<slug> in another tab to see exactly what your audience gets. On the free plan, a small “Create your own free board” link sits at the bottom of the board. Pro and Premium remove it:
