Customize the Look

Make a board match your event, team, or brand. Colors, backgrounds, fonts, and your own logo all live in the Appearance panel, and every change previews live and saves instantly.

Open the Appearance panel

From the board editor at /boards/<slug>, click Appearance to open the styling modal. Anything you change here broadcasts to viewers the moment you save.

1

Set your colors

On the Colors tab, choose a primary color and accent. These drive ranks, score chips, and highlights. The default is our brand green. Custom colors Pro require a paid plan — the free plan uses the built-in theme.

Choose a background

Pick a background theme or preset to set the mood — clean, dark, gradient, or textured. Dark presets look great on TVs; light ones blend into embeds. Uploading your own background image is also available on Pro plans.

3

Pick a font

Choose a font that fits your audience — clean and highly readable for a TV display, or something with more character for a casual game night.
4

Upload a logo

Add your organization's logo so the board looks like yours, not ours. Custom logos Pro are available on Pro and Premium. Supported formats: PNG, JPG, SVG.

Remove the watermark

Free boards show a small “Create your own free board” link at the bottom of the public view. Upgrading Pro removes it for a clean, fully branded board.

What needs a paid plan

Custom colors, custom backgrounds, custom logo, custom avatars, and watermark removal are all included on Pro and Premium. The free plan uses the built-in theme with the watermark. See pricing for the full comparison.

Designing for a TV?

High-contrast colors and a larger font read best across a room. Preview on the actual screen before your event — see the TV display guide.

How it looks to viewers

Open the public board at /b/<slug> in another tab to see exactly what your audience gets. On the free plan, a small “Create your own free board” link sits at the bottom of the board — Pro and Premium remove it:
