TV & Projector Display
Display your board on a TV, projector, or monitor for maximum visibility. Scores update in real time while you control the board from another device.
Setting up your display
Every board has a public URL that works in any browser. To display your board on a big screen:
- Open a browser on your TV, smart TV, or a device connected via HDMI (laptop, Chromecast, Apple TV, Fire Stick, etc.).
- Navigate to your board's public URL. You can find it by clicking Public View on your dashboard.
- Press F11 (or your browser's fullscreen shortcut) to enter fullscreen mode for a clean, distraction-free display.
- Update scores from your phone, tablet, or another computer. The TV updates automatically in real time.

Auto-scroll
If your board has more participants than fit on screen, enable auto-scroll to continuously cycle through the full list. This is especially useful for large leaderboards displayed on a TV where no one is manually scrolling.
To enable auto-scroll:
- Open your board in the editor and go to Settings > Engagement.
- Toggle Auto-Scroll on.
The board will smoothly scroll through all entries, pause at the bottom, then loop back to the top. If someone interacts with the page (scroll, touch, or click), auto-scroll pauses and resumes after a few seconds.

Best practices
- Use fullscreen mode: Press F11 to hide the browser toolbar and address bar. This gives your board the entire screen.
- Adjust browser zoom: If text is too small on a large TV, increase the browser zoom level (Ctrl/Cmd + Plus). If it's too large and clipping, zoom out (Ctrl/Cmd + Minus).
- Keep the screen awake: Disable sleep and screen saver settings on the device driving the display so the board stays visible.
- Use a wired connection: Wi-Fi is fine, but a wired ethernet connection avoids dropouts during live events.
- Pick high-contrast colors: Dark backgrounds with bright text are easier to read from a distance. Check the customization guide for theme options.
- Test beforehand: Open the board on the TV before your event starts to verify the layout, zoom level, and readability from the back of the room.
