When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials (managed by Firebase Authentication). When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment information is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details.

To send transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts)

To improve the service based on usage patterns

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate MakeTheBoard:

Firebase for authentication
Stripe for payment processing

4. Public boards

Boards you make public are accessible to anyone with the link. Board titles, participant names, and scores on public boards are visible to viewers. You can make a board private at any time.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and boards within 30 days.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and regular security reviews to protect your data.
