Goal Trackers

A goal tracker displays progress toward a target using a visual thermometer. Ideal for fundraising, team goals, and any campaign with a measurable target.

When to use a goal tracker

  • Charity fundraising campaigns and galas
  • Donation drives and giving days
  • Team sales targets and quarterly goals
  • Fitness challenges and step count goals
  • Crowdfunding and pre-order campaigns

Creating a goal tracker

  1. Go to your dashboard and click New Board.
  2. Select Goal Tracker as the board type.
  3. Name your board (e.g. "Annual Gala Fundraiser").
  4. Set your goal target (the number you're trying to reach).
  5. Click Create.

How it works

Each participant's score represents their contribution toward the goal. The thermometer fills based on the total of all contributions relative to the target.

When the total reaches or exceeds the goal, a celebration state is displayed automatically.

Adding contributions

Add participants (donors, team members, etc.) and update their scores as contributions come in. The thermometer updates instantly for all viewers.

For fundraising events, you can have someone updating the board from their phone in real time as donations are announced.

Tips for fundraising thermometers

  • Display it big: Put the board on a projector or large screen at your event.
  • Set a realistic goal: A goal that fills up during the event creates excitement.
  • Name your donors: Donor recognition drives more contributions.
  • Share the link: Let remote supporters follow along from anywhere.
  • Celebrate milestones: Call out when you hit 25%, 50%, 75% of the goal.
