Scoreboards

A scoreboard tracks scores across multiple rounds or periods. Perfect for any scenario where you need to track more than a single total.

When to use a scoreboard

  • Sports matches and league games
  • Board game and card game nights
  • Esports tournaments
  • Quiz nights and trivia events
  • Multi-round competitions

Creating a scoreboard

  1. Go to your dashboard and click New Board.
  2. Select Scoreboard as the board type.
  3. Name your board (e.g. "Friday Game Night").
  4. Click Create to start.

Rounds

Scoreboards support multiple rounds. Add a new round to start tracking a fresh set of scores while keeping the history of previous rounds visible.

Each round has its own column in the score table, and totals are calculated automatically.

Scoring

Click any cell in the score table to enter or update a score. Changes are saved and broadcast to all viewers in real time.

The total column updates automatically as you enter scores for each round.

Tips for great scoreboards

  • Name your rounds: Use descriptive names like "Round 1", "First Half", or "Game 3".
  • Update live: Have someone updating scores from their phone while the board is displayed on a TV.
  • Use for series: Track a season or tournament by adding new rounds for each game.
