The draw
Eight golfers in a single-elimination draw: quarterfinals, semifinals and final, 8 matches in all, counting the third-place match between the two losing semifinalists.
Seeding is standard (1 v 8 and 4 v 5 in round one), so the top two seeds can only meet in the final. With eight entrants the draw is full and nobody gets a bye.
How to run it
The slots are labelled “Player 1” to “Player 8” as placeholders. Type over them, paste your list, or shuffle for a random draw before the first result goes in.
