The draw
Eight teams in a single-elimination draw: quarterfinals, semifinals and final, 8 matches in all, counting the third-place match between the two losing semifinalists.
Seeding is standard (1 v 8 and 4 v 5 in round one), so the top two seeds can only meet in the final. With eight entrants the draw is full and nobody gets a bye.
How to run it
It comes filled in with “Quiz Please”, “Les Quizerables” and “The Smarty Pints” and 5 more teams, so you can see how it plays before you change anything. Replace them with your own, paste a list, or shuffle for a random draw before the first result goes in.
Enter each score and the winner advances. Everyone with the link follows along live, on their own phone or on a TV at the venue. It opens in the Chalkboard theme. Free for up to 64 entrants, and no account is needed to try it.
