The draw
Sixteen teams in a double-elimination draw: a winners bracket of four rounds, a losers bracket that keeps everyone alive until a second loss, and a grand final between the two champions. That is 30 matches in all, and every team is guaranteed at least two.
Seeding is standard (1 v 16 and 8 v 9 in round one), so the top two seeds can only meet in the final. With sixteen entrants the draw is full and nobody gets a bye.
How to run it
The slots are labelled “Team 1” to “Team 16” as placeholders. Type over them, paste your list, or shuffle for a random draw before the first result goes in.
