Powering leaderboards for thousands of people

The display as the gym sees it: rally score, sets won, serve marker, and timeouts.

Built for How Volleyball Is Scored

Sets, serve, and rally points, with a TV-ready display, from the first tap.

Scored by Set, Not by Clock

Volleyball is played to points, so the board leaves the clock off and shows what a gym scoreboard shows: the set you're in, the score in it, and the sets each side has won.

One Tap Per Rally

Rally scoring means every rally is a point. Tap +1 for the side that won it and the set score is on every screen before the next serve. Undo is one tap if the call is overturned.

Serve, Timeouts & Sets Won

Move the serve marker on a sideout and tick off timeouts as they're called. End the set with one tap: the leader takes it, the score resets to 0–0, and the next set is up.

Readable Across the Gym

Cast the display link to the gym TV or a projector for a bold scoreboard players read from the baseline and parents read from the bleachers. No flip cards, no LED panel to wire up.

Score From the Bench or the Table

Coach from the bench while a parent at the scorer's table keeps score from their own phone with the scorekeeper link. Every point, serve change, and timeout syncs live.

Parents Follow Every Set

Post the public link or QR code so supporters who couldn't make the match follow set by set, or drop the board into OBS as an overlay for the club's stream.

Sets, Serve & Rally Points

Tap +1 for the side that won the rally, move the serve marker on a sideout, and end the set with one tap: the leader takes the set, the score resets, and the board moves on. Sets won stay up beside each team all match.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. The free plan gives you a live volleyball scoreboard with rally scoring, sets won, a serve indicator, and timeouts, and you can set each team's name and colors. No credit card. Team logos, a display without the MakeTheBoard mark, and the transparent stream overlay come with a one-time $15 unlock for the board, or with a Pro plan.

Volleyball uses rally scoring: every rally ends in a point for whichever side wins it, whether or not they served. Sets are played to 25 points and must be won by two, and a deciding fifth set goes to 15. Matches are best of five in international and college play, or best of three in many high-school, club, and beach formats (beach sets go to 21, with the decider to 15). On the board, tap +1 for the side that won the rally and the set score updates on every screen.

Yes. The display shows the set you're in and the sets each team has won. When a set ends, tap End set: the leader is awarded the set, the score goes back to 0–0, and the board moves to the next set. Sets won stay on the display beside each team's name for the rest of the match.

Yes. A serve marker sits beside the serving team, and you move it with one tap when the serve changes sides after a sideout. Timeouts remaining show for each team too (two per set under most rules). You can hide either field if your format doesn't use it.

Not by default. Volleyball is played to points, not time, so the volleyball preset leaves the clock off and gives that space to sets and serve. If you run a timed format, such as a rec league or PE class playing 10-minute games, turn the timer on in the board's settings and it appears on the display next to the score.

Yes. Open the display link in a browser on any smart TV, Chromecast, Apple TV, laptop, or projector and you get a bold, high-contrast volleyball scoreboard readable from the far end of the gym. No LED scoreboard, flip cards, or wiring.

Yes. Share the public link or a QR code and anyone can watch the set score and sets won update live from their phone. For a stream, add the scoreboard's URL as a Browser Source in OBS, Streamlabs, or vMix and the score updates on the broadcast as the scorer enters it. The transparent overlay that keys over your video comes with the board's unlock.
